Review | Benefit How To Look The Best At Everything Kit

Benefit Cosmetics released last fall (2012) the cutest complexion kit ever.

The Benefit How To Look The Best At Everything kit contains everything you need to a flawless base. I've been trying this kit for about 2 weeks now and it's amazing!

How To Look The Best At Everything Kit

Tips and Tricks

This kit looks like book volumes and is perfect for traveling, with Tips and Tricks built in to the mirror.

This kit contains:
the Porefessional: a primer balm that instantly erases pores and shine. It's kind a miracle balm. One of my favourite products ever! I recommend it!
Hello Flawless Oxygen WOW Brightening Makeup: This is the liquid foundation from Benefit. I like this product because it covers with a luminous and natural finish.
Boi-ing: The kit contains two different shades to cover dark circles, blemishes and other imperfections. You can blend both shades to create the custom match to your foundation.
Hello Flawless Powder: the powder foundation in Champagne with the included little brush.

The light kit (which is my match) includes the Hello Flawless foundation and powder in Champagne (a bit a yellow undertone) as well Boi-ing shades 01 and 02

What I like on this product is that I can keep it in my bag or take it on a holiday. It looks like a book, what I think it looks really cute. I actually bought this to try out a few Benefit products. And like I said every of these products in this kit are amazing. It's worth it!
This kit is available in Light, Medium and Deep.

Price: $30.00 / £25.50 / CHF 52.50

Rating (1 to 10): 10

The Liebster Award.

Hi, Everyone! A big thank you to Lindsey from Elzee , who nominated me for the Liebster Award recently. I enjoyed getting to know more about Lindsey and a blogger award is a good way to learn more about other bloggers!

Here are the rules:
1. Each person nominated must list 11 things about themselves.
2. Answer the 11 questions left by your tagger.
3. Create your own 11 questions.
4. Tag up-to 11 people.
5. NO TAG BACKS.

So here are 11 facts about me:
1. I love travelling by train.

2. I love trees, I love forests. I feel at home and comforted by long walks in the woods. It energizes and inspires me.

3. I have a massive weakness on bags and shoes. I own so many bags an everytime I go somewhere I want to buy another one, to add to my collection.

4. Books make me happy. I like being able to read and spend time in my imagination. I own so many books. I've read a book because there's usually a sticky-note on the inside cover. I tend to mark diffrent quotes and paragraphs that inspire and motivate me.

Actually I owned that from my grandmother.

6. I have a really close relationship with my grandmother. She's one of the few people I trust mostly.

11. I love chewing gum. I always have a XL Pack of chewing gum with wild cherry flavour in my bag.

Lindsey's Questions:

2. What is the number 1 most played song on your iPod?

Never Say Never - The Fray

3. What do you miss most about being a child?
I'm 15 years old, does that make me still a child? I feel much older.
But what I am going to miss about being a child is at this age
I think everything is much easier and your problems are just related about school.
4. What is one thing you could not live without?
I think if you have the time, you can learn to live without something.
But probably it's chewing-gum.

Nail Polish of the Week | Orange Cosmos

Hi, Everyone!

This week I used the nail polish  from ASTOR Fashion Studio - 237 Orange Cosmos.
It's a really bright orange/coral colour.
I love this nail polish, because it dries very fast and it stays extra long.
The colour is perfect for spring and summer.

Ancient Ruins and Shooting.

Hi, Everyone!

Last week one of my best friends and I we went on a little excursion.
We visited some ancient ruins. They are over 1000 years old.
So we decided to do a shooting. This one in the picture is my lovely friend :)

Have you ever visit ancient ruins?

Inspirational Wednesday

 Hi, Everyone!
How is your Wednesday doing?
Leave you with an inspiration today.

I love this quote. This is basically what I always believe in.
Lately, however, I've been feeling a bit sore, it's because I know I haven't been living by it.
For a while now, I am scared to move on because  I've been hurt by a close friend of mine and I've been telling myself that without this friend I would be nothing.
For me this quote is about being in the moment. Being in a beautiful and happy moment surronded by people you love and knowing that, this moment wil soon come to an end, be nothing but a memory.
But you're not ready for this moment to end. You want to stay. You want to froze this moment in. You don't want leave this moment, this place, this people...
But you can feel it slowly slipping away. It's like the wind is carrying you forward and you are trying to work both against and towards it.

So live your life, don't be scared to move on, don't tell yourself that without someone you would be nothing because you know what? YOU are amazing and you deserve nothing but the best. Just because you have been hurt once, it doesn't mean that you can't get what you want, no one can be too good for anyone. Don't let your fear of rejection stop you from getting what you want.
Anyway, I'm sounding a bit depressing now and that's not what I want at all!

I leave you with a song to inspire you a bit :)

Something about my hair

Hi, Everyone!

I want to show you my hair before and after I straight my hair with a straightener.

On the left you can see my natural brown hair. It's a kind of wavy and curly hair.
On the right you see my hair when it's straight.

I like to wear my hair curly, because I think it looks a bit better. Maybe a little bit wilder?
But it's really difficult to treat my natural curly hair. I usually wash my hair before I go to sleep. Then I make a bride, because my mother says, since childhood, that it's better for your hair and it grows faster. I think it results :) I wash my hair with the Pantene Pro-V Repair & Care Shampoo and the Shampoo from L'Oréal Paris Elseve - Liss-Intense. Both are really good shampoos and I can comb my hair easier after washing my hair with them.

My mother prefers when my hair is straight. She thinks I look more mature.
I can't straight my hair everyday because i haven't got that time and it's really bad for your hair even if you use a Heat Protection spray. I use and would recommend the  Franck Provost Heat Protection spray. It protects your hair really good, only minus the smell. It's hideous...

I went shopping...

       Hi, Everyone!

I went shopping in MANGO yesterday and I bought some awsome clothes for springtime
and summertime :)

I bought this GORGEOUS dress in MANGO. I love the shape, the fabric and the colour. It's a kind of beige- white colour. I can not wait to wear this in spring and summer :) And it came with a brown belt. The lenght is also ok. It comes a bit up till my knee. The price was 49.90Francs. This is $59.99 or £34.99. I think this is actually a good price for such a suuper cute dress.

Next is a pink shirt from MANGO Casual.

It has a zipper in the front and it's also a bit shorter.
I love the colour and the shape and I think it looks super cute!

Also in MANGO I saw this suuper cute shirt. I felt instantly in love.
It's a soft-rose colour and I think it looks amazing with my dark-brown curly hair.

On the top it has little brown polka dots. This is also suuper cute :)
What do you think?

Nail polish of the week

Hi, Everyone!

I hope you all had a happy Sunday and still have. I want to share with you my nail polish of the week.

It's the nail polish from
Essence colour & go - 86 a lovely secret.

This is a really bright colour and perfect for springtime. It's mixture of violet and blue with little sparkles.
This nail polish has the advantage that it dries quickly and it's also really cheap. I recommend the "lovely secret" to everyone, who wants to put some colour on the nails and also be trendy :) .

Escape and Relax.

Sometimes it's good to just take some time for you and get away from it all. Which is exactly what I did today. A friend and I we  went on a little excursion by bike to escape from the stressful everyday life.

Do you have a place, where you can go and relax?

Primark Haul

Hi, Everyone!

Here where I live it's really cold, cloudy and foggy. So my mother and my sister escape from this weather to the south of Portugal, in the lovely Algarve. There was really hot and they went also to the beach.
 BeacPrima

This is an olive tree - Oliveira

Of course they went shopping during they trip. Primark, ZARA, Bershka, H&M and KIKO are some of the shops they went. They brought me some things home.

To the right there is a silver amulet. This is actually very light. I have some ideas to wear this, I'll probably write this in another post. This costs 3 Euros.

In the middle is a necklace with 6 pendants. The Cross, a feather, a tooth (or maybe a bone??),
the Abhaya Mudra (it's a sign for fearlessness and it comes from Sri Lanka), a turquoise baton (but for me it looks like a little pen :)), and last but not least Buddha's face with a lotus.
I like this necklace, because it's a bit clerical but also a bit Bohemian Style. What do you think? This was also 3 Euros.

To the left is a little owl. They bought them on a market in Quarteira. He has two little diamonds as his eyes. Owls are very in trend right now and it looks really nice with a maxi skirt, a baggy shirt and a jeans jacket.  Do you know what I mean?! The festival period starts and why not pimp your outfit up with an owl?

They also brang 5 hotpants from Primark. A jeans one, a blue one, a red one, a beige one and a black one. Hotpants are a must-have for springtime and summer. My favourite one is the beige. With a white blouse or shirt and a black blazer it would look very nice. I'll wear this in spring or in summer, you'll see a OOTD :)

5 favourites Things in my room

Hi, Everyone!

Today I want to share with you, my 5 favourite things in my room.
I searched a little while, and I picked up some of my favourites.

This is my Buddha. I became this one from my mother to Christmas.
Maybe you ask yourself now, why I like Buddha.

This is my favourite Buddha quote and one of the best if not the best.
"Don't blindly believe what I say. Don't believe me because others convince you of my words. Don't believe anything you see, read, or hear from others, whether of authority, religious teachers or texts. Don't rely on logic alone, nor speculation. Don't infer or be deceived by appearances."

On the left you can see a candle. This one is from IKEA. I like candles, because I think they are really romantic and mysterious.

Behind the candle is my jewel case, that I made on my own. It's an owl sitting on a tree at night. Next to my jewel case, it's my favourite book ever -  "My best friend's girl" wrote by Dorothy Koomson. I read it about 100 times. It's about a woman Adele, who's in the hospital dying. She wrote a letter to her old friend Kamryn and begs her to adobt her five-year-old daughter Tegan. Years ago, Adele slept with Kamryn's fiancé Nate. But with no one else to take care of Tegan, Adele takes care of her and it begins a difficult journey that leads Kamryn towards forgiveness, love, responsibility and, ultimately, a better understanding of herself.
I recommend this book to everyone.

Next to my favourite book, there is an angel. I got it from my sister for my confirmation. It means a lot to me.
And on the right there is my Buddha you read it on the top of my post.
