Makeup and Skin Care August Favourites

Hello darlings, I wish you all a peaceful sunday. I can not belive that it's already September. Summer got by so fast that we're nearly in fall. Actually fall is one of my favourite seasons of the year so I'm pretty excited to wear sweaters again and pull my hair back when it's windy! So with further talking... it's time for my monthly favourites.
So this month it was all about skin care and makeup. The Porefessional  - Benefit is the primer I've been using for the last couple of weeks. What I like about it is the size. Earlier I went on holidays so it's the perfect size to carry in the makeup bag. I don't own many primers that help me minimize the appearance of pores but this one from Benefit surely does. I've noticed that my pores aren't as visible as they were before using this primer.

I'm not quite a fan of drugstore moisturizers because of my really oily and acne skin. So for the last couple of years I've only been using a moisturizer that my dermatologist has recommend me. But I wanted to try a drugstore moisturizer. So I came across the Bebe Young Care cream for normal skin. It's great for medium dry skin as it doesn't leave an oily film on your face. The scent is really like this one smells of peach but I would prefer a bit a softer scent. But for a cheap drugstore cream this is really good!

I was in the market searching for a concealer and came across the  Maybelline Super Stay 24H Concealer. I been using this product for about two months now and it lasted for quite a while. This concealer is quite cheap and it comes in a lipgloss jar, so you only need a bit of it. I used this concealer as a preparation to my Estée Lauder concealer to cancel out dark circles.

I mentioned this YSL Rouge Volupté Lipstick in Impetuous Beige 107 a while ago and it's still one of my favourite lipsticks for summer. I leave you the link here if you want to read the whole review.

The Garnier BB Cream Miracle Skin Perfector is the BB cream I've used during my holidays. When I'm on holidays I tend to put less makeup on. But still I can't go without BB Cream. This BB cream is not too heavy but still gives colour and a bit of coverage. I'm looking forward to review it for you this month!

And last but not least the Lipo Sol  Cleansing Lotion from Louis Widmer. My dermatologist recommend me this a while ago for my oily and acne-prone skin. It's a lovely cleanser that goes on my face gently and leaves it soft and really refreshed. I use it twice - in the morning and before I go to bed. I'm going to review this for you probably next month because I highly recommend this cleanser!

Ever tried one of these products? Let me know what your beauty and skin care favourites were! Have a nice day! xx

Scrambled eggs with vegetables | Recipe

Hello Everyone! So today it's time for my very first recipe. Scrambled eggs is a quick and easy dish that you can do with things you already have at home.

1. Prepare the eggs. Break 2-3 eggs per person into a bowl of jug.
2. Mix well until the colour is yellow.
3. Heat a pat of butter in a frying pan. Move the pan by its handle, so that the melted fat glides around and coats the entire pan.
4. Watch that as the eggs start to cook, the mixture solidifies. As soon as this starts happening, move the mixture around the pan.
5. Put all the other ingredients in the pan. Move all around and see if your eggs are almost cooked.

Your eggs are done after there's no liquid left in the pan. Et voilà you have your scrambled eggs! Hope you enjoyed reading this type of post!

Let me now if you have tried this recipe or a similar one. Have a nice week. :) xx

VICHY Normaderm Anti-Imperfections Moisturizer | Review

Hello Ladies! So today I want to talk about one of my favorite skin products - Vichy Normaderm Anti-Imperfections Tri-Activ Hydrating Care.

I have an oily skin and have been suffering from acne for the last couple of years. I asked a friendly lady who worked at a local pharmacy if she could help me find a good moisturizer for an oily and sensitive skin with acne. And she recommend me this product from Vichy Laboratoires. I had only good experiences with Vichy products so I had high standards to this moisturizer.

The product comes in a white pump bottle with a green cap. So it's quite easy to applie and not to waste it. The bottle contains 50ml of a white cream. I really like the quite thick texture of it. It isn't greasy and sticky at all and it absorbs very quickly. Before buying this moisturizer I was searching for one that has an agreeable scent. But it's really hard to find one because most of them smell really chemical. But the smell of this moisturizer is different. It has such a fresh sent that I actually think my skin feels fresher for a longer time. I mean this feeling when you wash your face in the morning with cold water and after that you feel so much more refreshed. Nah, maybe it's just me?!

Like I said above I have a combination skin which has an excessive oily T-zone all through the year and it's really sensitive plus I suffered of severe acne. This product definitely prevent my skin from getting more oily and it does keep my skin matte on my T-zone. But it hasn't helped me diminishing my severe acne. That's why I went to a dermatologist. But now I haven't got acne anymore just a few scarves but I still use this product because it helps me prevent to get acne again!

The only problem I have with this moisturizer is that it does not work well with make up at all. Unfortunately it balls and rolls up into tiny white balls. What is really annoying. That makes it impossible to wear make up on top. So when I want to use it as a Day care I don't use as much make up as I used to or don't use make up at all. I like to use it as a Night care as well.

I have already bought this two times and it has totally helped my skin not to get oily and to prevent blackheads and acne. It's available in every pharmacy or you can get it at Boots here and at Amazon here.

To conclude, I have already bought this two times and this moisturizer has totally helped my skin not to get oily, to prevent blackheads and acne. I would definitely recommend this to everyone with mild acne problems and combination to oily skin or just oily skin! It's definitely
the price $ 32.50 / £12.00 worth!

Have you tried this moisturizer before? Which is your favorite moisturizer?

Have a nice day! xx

Ever heard about Prairie Charms? | Project Blogger

Hello Everyone :)

So I'm pretty excited to introduce you to the online store Prairie Charms.
Recently I was approached on Twitter asking if I'd like to participate in the 'Project Blogger'. Project Blogger is an initiative where I (and all the other bloggers) receive 50% off of anything on their website.
Immediately I felt in love with everything on their website and after realising that they donate a cut of the profit to the Great Ormand Street Children's Hospital Charity, I couldn't wait to get involved!

As always all my views and thoughts are my own and I would never recommend anything to you that I don't absolutely love myself! :)

After waiting one week, what definitely is not a long time for a package that came all the way from the UK right here to Switzerland, I received my order today in a very shiny gold bag. After opening that really glamorous package, I found my bracelet wrapped in pink tissue paper.
I was browsing the site and I found a really cute bracelet that I just had to get it - The Sadia Bracelet with a gold feather.

This bracelet fits perfectly around my wrist and I absolutely love these white gemstone beads. It fits just right in my jewellery box. The whole ordering process was very simple and all things on their website are kind of girly, floral and quirky - there's definitely something for you too! I will definitely be buying some more jewellery from this company!

Have a look yourself at Prairie Charms.  Have a nice day :) xx

Tips for Back-to-School

Hello Everyone! For many the first day of school year has already started. If you are one of the lucky ones who begins a little later, you may still want some school tips to help make the first couple of school days easier.

Be organized. It's quite difficult to put everything in the right place when you're rushing between classes. So take some time to clean your backpack and binders. The less frustrated you're going to be, the easier it is to find what you need.

Be prepared for the first day. For me the first day its always a hectic day because I have to get from one class to another. So it's always important to be prepared. I always pack my school bag the day before school is going to start because I don't like rush in the morning. And I also like to go buy the things that I need to replace: my pencil case, some notebooks and a school calender. I always like to pick out a cute school bag to carry my items.

Be nice and smile. You should do this not only at the beginning of a new school year but all the year through. You'll make more friends, make others feel good just simply by smiling and being nice - Not only to other students but also to the teachers, secretaries, everyone around you. It's never wrong to be nice. :)

These were some of my all-time back to school tips. I hope you all a have great first day back to school or maybe these tips will help you for first day at work! :) Have a nice day! xx
